A 1U rack-mountable video tiling processor. Delivers content from 4 HDMI sources to a single screen in a variety of viewing modes, including quad view and picture in a picture. Great for clients who are sports fans or for digital signage jobs.

Main Description

All source devices connected to the 2G+4+ unit are first connected to an individual 2G or 2G+ transmitter, which is connected to the 2G+4+ device via Cat 5e/6 cable. The 2G+4+ tiler is then connected to a Layer 3 Gigabit managed network switch via Cat 5e/6 cable. The result is that the source devices can be viewed as a single image or as a combined tiled image on every screen that has a Just Add Power 2G or 2G+ receiver. The 2G+4+ can even be called up on video wall screens for digital signage or simply to make more prime time programming viewable.

You can stack up to 2G+4+ units and, as a result, actually view up to 16 sources simultaneously on a single display. It can be mixed and matched in the same network as earlier second generation (2G /2G+) transmitters and receivers. Requires a gigabit managed switch and uses a Cat 5e / 6 or fiber optic cabling infrastructure to send Full HD 1080p video and audio over the local area network.

Control via IP, IR, or RS232. Third party control system drivers available for: Control4, Crestron, RTI, AMX, URC, Elan! G, Netstreams.
Image Push: push one or multiple JPEGS onto the receivers. This image can then be shown during system downtime as opposed to a blank screen.
Image Pull: pull a JPEG from the receivers for live image feedback
Image Pause: freeze the video on one or more receivers whilst the other receivers continue to show the live video content.
Custom On Screen Messaging: â€‹set up a customized error message on any or all of the HD over IP devices on the network during downtime.
Stackable (i.e. with 5 x 2G+4+ installed, you can watch 16 sources on a single displays)
