Our PureInstall HDMI to DisplayPort adapters complies with the latest HDMI standard - HDMI High Speed. They support resolutions up to WUXGA (1920x1200) and are downward compatible with all former DP and HDMI versions.
Compatibility
The adapter converts signals from DisplayPort (plug) to HDMI-A (socket) and therefore extends the compatibility of sources with DisplayPort output effectively by an HDMI port for HDMI-ready screens. The adapter is, however, not bidirectionally (from HDMI source to DisplayPort sink) usable!
Never Worry Again about Worn Sockets
Port savers are a reasonable addition when stiff and long and/or thick HDMI cables are being used. The Port saver is being connected to the socket of the receiving device and reliefs it by picking up the traction coming from the connected cable. Additionally, our Port savers have an extreme bending radius (up to 180°), thanks to their highly elastic manufacturing. This simplifies the use of stiff HDMI cables in fragile sockets.
