The Shelly RC Snubber is an energy-absorbing circuit, used to suppress the voltage spikes cause when an electrical or mechanical circuit opens.
The Shelly RC Snubber is intended for all Shelly relays that are restarted when switching on induction loads like fans, motors and rollers, or relays that can cause voltage spikes when powering on.
The RC Snubber should be wired between the Output and Neutral of the circuit, and protects your network against voltage spikes.
